Job Summary

We are seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team at Newcastle Hospice. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to patients with complex physical and palliative needs.

Responsibilities
  • Work as an autonomous practitioner, utilizing advanced knowledge, skills, and expertise in relation to the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of a range of physical health and palliative conditions.
  • Collaborate with ACPs, senior clinical leads, medics, and the wider MDT in the development of advanced clinical practice across the service and in the delivery of high standards of safe and quality care.
Requirements
  • Hold an appropriate Master's level award with appropriate modules in Advanced Health Assessment and in Non-Medical Prescribing.
  • Take responsibility for own learning and development by recognizing and taking advantage of all opportunities to learn, in line with core professional competencies of the Advanced Clinical Practitioner, including full participation in appraisal and supervision, and acting as a role model for self-development.
