Job Title: Healthcare Information SpecialistAbout the Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled and resourceful Healthcare Information Specialist to join our team at the Royal Victoria Infirmary Library. This part-time role (7 hours 30 minutes/week) involves working Thursdays and Fridays, providing crucial support to our Library and Information Services team.

The successful candidate will have experience working in a healthcare environment and possess excellent analytical skills. They will be responsible for tasks such as literature searching, data analysis, and providing information to stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct literature searches and gather relevant data
  • Analyse data and create reports for stakeholders
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues and external partners
Qualifications and Experience:
  • QCF Level 3 Libraries, Archives and Information Services or equivalent library qualification
  • Previous experience of working in a healthcare environment
  • Advanced knowledge of IT systems and software

Salary Range: £32,000 - £40,000 per annum (pro-rata)
