Healthcare Support Specialist

As a Healthcare Support Specialist, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of healthcare assistants to ensure the provision of high-quality care and assistance to our residents. In addition to the responsibilities of a care assistant, you will oversee the daily operations of the care team, coordinate care plans, and act as a point of contact for the residents and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Assisting residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Monitoring and recording residents' vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
- Collaborating effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
- Minimum of NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care required, candidates who are working towards this are also encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience in a care setting or similar role is preferred.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine interest in the well-being of elderly individuals.
- Competitive hourly rate of up to £13.25 per hour plus incentives.
