Leading a team of talented chefs, you will be an integral part of our kitchen brigade. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join our team at this stylish and elegant hotel.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and food, with excellent leadership and communication skills. As a key member of the kitchen team, you will be responsible for leading a section and creating exquisite dishes to the highest standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and oversee the day-to-day running of your section to meet service requirements
  • Maintain high health and hygiene standards
  • Supervise and lead a team of Commis and Demi Chefs
  • Sample and observe food to ensure conformance to recipes and standards
  • Take orders from the Sous Chef and delegate tasks to Commis and Demi Chefs
  • Write daily requisitions and kitchen transfers for approval
  • Maintain a clean and efficient kitchen section and optimize food utilization
  • Participate in food production, portioning meats, fish, vegetables, and desserts
  • Communicate with back-of-the-house personnel to maintain efficient food production

Requirements:

  • NVQ levels 2&3 or equivalent
  • Experience working in a Michelin-starred or AA Rosette establishment
  • Hotel or restaurant background
  • Good knowledge of cooking techniques and styles
  • Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene
  • COSHH knowledge
  • Good verbal and written English
  • Computer literacy
  • The right to work in the UK

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum
