Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at an international Defence and Weapons Systems Company. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting technical changes to existing company products and will have the opportunity to shape the next generation of defence/weapons platforms and future technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing design evidence to justify a safe and effective design solution.
  • Specifying and assisting in the build of prototypes, products, and systems suitable for testing.
  • Providing timely corrective actions on assigned defects and issues.
  • Mentoring junior engineers on technical matters.
  • Authoring technical reports, papers, articles, patents, and presentations as required.

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level in Engineering, Mechanical, or Science subjects.
  • Ability to design documentation and present it to customers and wider groups.
  • Proficient in CAD, MS Office, and comfortable with other IT applications.
