An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Cannock Chase team, working on a site with an abundance of wildlife and historic heritage.
This role is part of a £10 million investment project to improve visitor facilities, and you will play a key part in shaping this project as it progresses over the next few years.
The ideal candidate will be friendly and outgoing, with customer service and visitor engagement experience in the heritage sector.
Weekend and bank holiday working is required to provide a visitor centre experience during the busiest footfall times.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing the visitor engagement assistant and volunteers, including work rotas.
- Managing health and safety, including building checks.
- Cash handling and financial reporting.
The role would suit someone with experience of:
- Visitor engagement and managing visitor/conference facilities.
- Basic financial management, sales, and cash handling.
