Job Title: Portfolio Management Analyst

Brookfield Properties is seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Management Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our asset management organization, you will be responsible for performing complex financial analysis and valuations, modeling the impacts of returns on the business or within the portfolio, and preparing marketing materials for internal and external use.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing financial analysis and valuations to support investment decisions
  • Modeling the impacts of returns on the business or within the portfolio
  • Preparing marketing materials for internal and external use, including co-investor reporting packages and quarterly reporting
  • Assisting in the preparation and review of internal fund reporting
  • Collaborating with operating management teams and asset management colleagues on corporate development transactions, including financings, acquisitions, and strategic planning
  • Attending quarterly board meetings and preparing materials as required
  • Writing investment committee memoranda and presenting investment recommendations
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience in real estate investing, investment banking, M&A, or private equity
  • Fluency in Spanish, French, German, or another European language is an asset
  • Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and valuation skills, ideally with a real estate and/or corporate focus
  • Existing knowledge of hotel operations and capital markets
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Project planning and self-management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
