Adult Mental Health Specialist

This role requires a highly skilled and compassionate individual to provide practical and emotional care to adults with mental health needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting individuals with challenging behavior, learning disabilities, and/or mental health issues.
About the Role- Supervise the day-to-day delivery of care, ensuring service users' needs are met and that they participate appropriately in daily household and leisure activities.
- Be responsible for the care, welfare, and safety of service users and the health and safety of staff.
- Undertake monthly supervisions with staff as delegated and participate in the staff appraisal programme for subordinate staff.
- Act as a staff skills coach and undertake appropriate team building and training programmes.
- Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards one.
- Experience in supporting adults with challenging behavior, learning disabilities, and/or mental health issues.
- The confidence to work alone or as part of a team.
- The passion to work with vulnerable adults.
- The desire and commitment to achieve high standards of safeguarding.
