English Teacher Job Description:

Wayman Learning Trust seeks an exceptional English Teacher with a specialism in Shakespeare to join its esteemed team. This permanent position offers a unique opportunity to inspire a love of literature in young minds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach English lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, incorporating innovative methods to engage students.
  • Guide students in exploring Shakespeare's plays, promoting a deeper understanding of language, themes, and characters.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of a comprehensive and enriching English curriculum.
  • Support students' wellbeing and personal development as part of the pastoral care team.
Requirements:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
