At the North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Nurse Lead to join our Integrated Urgent Care Clinical Assessment Service. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of patient care, assessing and delivering high-quality healthcare to individuals across all age groups.

About the Role

This role requires a registered nurse with substantial clinical experience in various settings, preferably with previous experience working within IUC or NHS 111 as a clinical advisor or health advisor. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to provide coaching and guidance to others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based healthcare to patients, including assessment, medication advice, and health information.
  • Support individuals in accessing appropriate levels of care, including advice on managing symptoms at home.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, and responsive care.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including pension scheme, annual leave, and training opportunities.
