As a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents. Your focus will be to support the Wellbeing Coordinator in delivering a diverse range of activities that cater to the physical, cognitive, and social well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and welcoming living environment, contributing to the positive image of the care home.
Report any changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to the Wellbeing and Activity Coordinator, Home Manager, and care staff.
Assist with ordering and preparing supplies for upcoming activities as directed.
Establish links with the local community to promote intergenerational activity and access to wider community resources.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will embody our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in everything you do. Our ideal candidate must have effective communication skills, a positive attitude towards older people, and a commitment to providing stimulating activities and social events. Previous experience working with older people in a residential nursing setting is essential. A driving license and certain years of driving experience are also required.
