About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Healthcare Support Worker to join our Neighbourhood Mental Health Team in Worcester. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a real difference in people's lives.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for healthcare, and the ability to work flexibly within a 30-hour week, Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00.

The salary for this role is £22,128 - £25,609 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including hybrid working opportunities, wide-ranging development prospects, support from the wider team, and progression to B3 upon completion of Level 2 & 3 Business Administration qualification.

Main duties include:

  • Supporting patients and their families
  • Assisting with administrative tasks and providing general support
  • Maintaining accurate records and databases
  • Responding to enquiries and handling correspondence

To be considered for this role, you will need a current right to work in the UK, educated to vocational level 2 in Business Administration, and recent experience in an administrative role.

Key Qualifications

  • Educated to vocational level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Recent experience in an administrative role
  • Understanding of clerical procedures, data inputting, and Microsoft Office packages
  • Knowledge of the Data Protection Act and NHS Code of Confidentiality
