Job Description:Job Title: Purchase Ledger Accounts Assistant
  • Support the Accounts department in ensuring the smooth running of the department on a day-to-day basis
  • General office administration tasks
  • Printing invoices, credit notes, and statements
  • Pairing delivery paperwork with invoices
  • Checking and reconciling supplier statements
  • Managing credit note spreadsheets
  • Opening supplier accounts and maintaining information
  • Contra rebating invoices from the sales ledger to the purchase ledger
  • Processing invoices and credits
  • Processing supplier payments
  • Data input in Excel and accounting packages
  • Answering supplier queries
  • Keeping records up to date
  • Filing documents
