We are looking for an experienced Archival Infrastructure Specialist to join our team in London. The successful candidate will work closely with the Strategic Projects Director to set up physical and digital archival infrastructure, including commissioning an open-source digital repository.

About the Role:
  • Develop/adopt appropriate metadata schemas for collections, presented bilingually (English and Arabic) via an open-access digital archive website.
  • Work with external consultant on an archival records management policy and a digital and physical records preservation policy prior to beginning digitisation.

This fixed-term role, spanning 7 months, offers a competitive salary of £30,000 per annum, inclusive of London weighting, and USS pension. Travel to the Levant region and East London may be required.
