Job Description

We are seeking a driven and experienced Regional Business Development Manager to join our team. As a field-based, territory management role, you will promote the capabilities of our industry-leading laser cutting technology, helping to expand market presence and exceed ambitious growth targets.

 

Responsibilities

  • Sales & Promotion: Lead sales efforts by promoting high-power laser cutting technology.
  • Customer Focus: Deliver exceptional solutions meeting client needs, ensuring highest standards of quality and service.
  • Target Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed sales targets by identifying market needs and aligning our offerings to customer requirements.
  • Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities in your designated territory, contributing to long-term growth and success.
  • Relationship Building: Build and nurture strong client relationships, understanding unique needs and delivering customised solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the technical team to ensure seamless delivery of customer requirements and solutions.
  • Presentation & Proposals: Develop and present persuasive proposals and presentations demonstrating the benefits of our laser cutting technology.
  • Market Insight: Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to position our services effectively.
  • Territory Management: Take full ownership of your sales area, developing and executing strategies to drive results and growth.
  • Value Addition: Identify additional opportunities for services and processes adding value to customers and increasing profitability.

 

Required Skills & Attributes

  • Industry Experience: Experience in materials processing or metal fabrication, particularly in selling laser cutting services to OEMs or Tier 1 companies.
  • Analytical & Strategic: Able to analyse market data, spot growth opportunities, and create targeted sales strategies.
  • Self-Starter: Comfortable working independently and managing your territory with autonomy.
  • Client Facing Confidence: Skilled at presenting complex technical solutions to clients and demonstrating expertise.
  • Proven Sales Record: A "sales hunter" with a strong track record of developing new business and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and clearly with clients and internal teams.
  • Dynamic & Motivated: A results-driven professional with a high-energy, positive attitude who thrives in fast-paced environments.

 

Salary Information

£40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus competitive bonus.
