Job Description

As a Child Wellbeing Consultant at Northamptonshire Children's Trust, you will be responsible for contributing to the wellbeing of children and families through direct work with parents. This will involve working closely with various professionals and organisations, including the national network of FDACs.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing interventions for parents and children
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with partner agencies and stakeholders
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues and external partners
  • Identifying and developing opportunities for innovation and improvement

You will also have the opportunity to develop and implement new strategies to improve outcomes for children and families, as well as contribute to the development of the trust's overall strategy.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in Social Work or a related field
  • Experience in frontline social work, particularly in care proceedings, child protection, and child in need
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including:
