We are looking for a highly skilled Child Protection Professional to join our team at Opus People Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our Duty and Assessment Team, you will conduct visits to children and families, complete assessments, and engage in direct safeguarding work to protect the wellbeing and safety of young people.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in social work, with experience working with vulnerable children and families. They will also possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and have a deep understanding of child protection policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing caseloads and prioritizing tasks to ensure effective service delivery
  • Participating in strategy discussions to inform decision-making and drive positive outcomes
  • Facilitating safety planning and conducting Section 17 and 47 enquiries

The estimated salary for this position is £34,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience.
