We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Social Care Direct Advisor. As a key member of our Emergency Duty Service, you will play a vital role in providing essential support to vulnerable adults and children in Essex.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to enquiries and requests from service users, providing accurate and up-to-date information and advice on Social Care policies and services.
- Identify and respond to urgent or critical situations, escalating referrals to EDS Social Workers as necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless support to service users.
- Maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with data recording legislation and guidance.
Requirements:
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent by experience.
- Excellent typing and office-based skills.
- Experience of working under pressure in a busy office environment.
- A working knowledge of standard ICT software and systems, particularly MS Word and Excel.
