About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Research Fellow to join our team at the University of York. As a Senior Research Fellow, you will play a key role in leading the design and delivery of efficient and inclusive trials, focusing on complex interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and delivery of efficient and inclusive trials.
  • Develop and share best practices within the York Trials Unit.
  • Provide expert advice through the NIHR RSS Hub.
  • Collaborate with health and care practitioners.
  • Drive innovation in efficient and inclusive trials.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • Academic qualifications: PhD in a relevant health research area or an MSc with equivalent experience.
  • Expertise: In-depth knowledge of trial design and delivery, efficient methods and approaches, and inclusive research practices.
  • Funding: Proven experience in securing significant external research funding.
  • Impactful Research: A strong track record of high-quality, impactful research outputs.
  • Collaboration: Experience incorporating patient and public involvement in research.
