Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Section Chef Leader to join our team at Château de Mercuès. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for managing an efficient section within the kitchen and ensuring that attractive seasonal food of the highest quality is served efficiently and consistently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage an efficient section within the kitchen, ensuring that food is prepared and served to the highest standards.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to prepare food and carry out tasks as directed.
- Direct commis chefs within your area of responsibility as required.
- Ensure your station and surrounding areas are clean and set up in the appropriate manner.
- Ensure that any members of staff within your control are correctly dressed in line with health and safety guidelines.
- Carry out ordering and stock taking procedures as required in a timely manner in line with company standards.
- Manage stock effectively to minimize waste and ensure temperatures are taken in accordance with food policy.

- Qualifications
- A minimum of two years' experience in a high-calibre establishment of similar standard.
- Additional Information
