At Goldman Sachs, we are committed to excellence in tax management. The primary mission of our Tax division is to ensure the firm's compliance with tax laws and regulations, and to assist our businesses in managing tax risk.
Key Tax functions include:
Providing tax information for the firm's financial statements;
Advising professionals on tax implications related to the firm's businesses and transactions;
We are seeking a Vice President with significant change management experience to lead our global operating model transformation program. The program aims to uplift our division's data sourcing and transformation capabilities, and to standardize, globalize, and operationalize global direct and indirect tax processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant work experience in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
Proven leadership abilities, with demonstrable skill in leading through influence, building consensus among stakeholders, and managing senior-level stakeholders;
Strong analytical skills and project management technical skills;
Ability to work across teams, regions, and functions, preferably in the financial services industry;
Excellent people management skills and ability to influence key stakeholders;
Previous experience with JIRA, project budgeting, and steering committee calls;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools;
