Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality clinical care to patients while adhering to the GMS and PCN DES contract.
- Contribute to the effective management of the practice, leading by example and maintaining a positive working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.
- Manage a broad range of acute and chronic illnesses, ensuring care is delivered in line with evidence-based guidelines and best practices.
- Assess health care needs, screen patients for disease risk factors, and participate in disease management.
- Develop care plans, provide counselling and health education, and record consultation notes.
- Prescribe medications in accordance with the practice formulary and collect data for audit purposes.
Requirements:
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree
- Qualified GP with MRCGP certification
- Full GMC registration and eligibility to practice in the UK independently
- Experience in primary care and understanding of clinical governance and quality issues
