Nurse Clinical Research Endoscopist Role Summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a highly skilled Nurse Clinical Research Endoscopist to contribute to the success of our Endoscopy Unit. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and advancing research initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Promote a culture of excellence in patient care, advocating for the rights and dignity of individuals undergoing endoscopic procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to develop and implement evidence-based care pathways, ensuring seamless transitions throughout the patient journey.
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of endoscopy-related policies, procedures, and guidelines, staying up-to-date with the latest research and developments.
  • Foster open communication and teamwork, actively contributing to the creation of a positive work environment.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Registered Nurse (Part 1, 8, 12, or 15 of register) or National certification in area of practice (minimum 1 year endoscopy experience).
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development through maintenance of an ongoing NMC revalidation.
  • Minimum of 3 years acute care registered nurse experience.

Salary: £29,970 - £36,483 per annum pro rata.
