Job Responsibilities

As a CAMHS Engagement Coordinator, you will be responsible for conducting Session 0, which involves meeting with the young person and their family to explain and discuss the treatment plan formulated by the practitioner. You will ensure that the child and their family fully comprehend the plan's goals and components.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and addressing any barriers to engagement in treatment, providing guidance and support to mitigate these barriers.
  • Familiarizing the child and their family with the psychoeducation e-platform, explaining how it can be used to access additional resources and information.
  • Booking treatment slots, ensuring that the first available and accessible slots are booked, considering the individual's needs and preferences.

You will also co-facilitate treatment programs designed to address the mental health needs of young people, working closely with practitioners to implement treatment plans effectively.
