About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Publicity Manager to join our award-winning Communications team at Hachette UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and implementing sales-driving and profile-building publicity campaigns across our wide range of imprints.

You will work closely with our authors, agents, and other stakeholders to develop and execute strategic publicity plans that drive sales and raise the profile of our authors and books. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a creative and dynamic environment, utilizing your essential publicity skills to reach the widest possible readership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and implement sales-driving and profile-building publicity campaigns
  • Work closely with authors, agents, and other stakeholders to develop and execute strategic publicity plans
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with authors and agents
  • Confidently present plans to colleagues and stakeholders
  • Regularly update key stakeholders on progress
Requirements

We are looking for a passionate and driven Senior Publicity Manager with a proven track record of creating industry-leading driving publicity campaigns across fiction and non-fiction. You will have demonstrable experience as a publicist, a love of literary publishing, and experience working with brand authors. You will also be extremely efficient, have a broad range of contacts across the media and events, and bring initiative, creativity, and passion to the role.
