Senior Publicity Manager – Penguin Random House Children's

We are seeking a highly experienced and senior publicist to join our award-winning children's publishing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering creative and innovative campaigns that drive sales and increase brand awareness.

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting books and authors through social media, digital channels, print, and broadcast. They will also manage all aspects of author events and tours, including event creation, schedules, and stakeholder management.

About the Role:

  • Promote books and authors through social media, digital channels, print, and broadcast to ensure coverage and generate sales.
  • Manage all aspects of author events and tours, including event creation, schedules, and stakeholder management.
  • Global campaign management, where relevant, including coordinating international press requests for group companies.
  • Establish and maintain strong external relationships with consumer media, trade media, key influencers, and networks within the industry.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of delivering creative and innovative campaigns that drive sales and increase brand awareness.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong knowledge of the children's publishing industry and market trends.
