Sanctuary Property Services is seeking a skilled Multi-Trade Operative to join our team in Canterbury. As a key member of our Operations Voids/Responsive team, you will be responsible for carrying out general repairs to both void and tenanted properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attending properties to carry out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties
  • Resolving problems or setting into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed
  • Maintaining a suitable van stock level and restocking these when needed
  • Providing accurate and timely information on the progress of works that is easily understood by the customer

Requirements:

  • Qualified to or undertaking NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (carpentry, electrical, or plumbing)
  • Experience in working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
  • Skills in some of the following disciplines – Plumbing, Plastering, Carpentry and Joinery, kitchen and bathroom installations, UPVC door and window fitting
  • Awareness of health and safety regulations and working legislation
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
