About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Learning Support Mentor - East Riding of Yorkshire. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about supporting students with behavioural challenges.

In this role, you will work closely with the pastoral team to provide targeted support to students with behavioural difficulties, developing and implementing effective strategies to manage student behaviour.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with the pastoral team to develop and implement effective strategies to manage student behaviour.
  • Providing one-on-one and group support to students with behavioural challenges, helping them to manage their behaviour and engage effectively in classroom activities.
  • Collaborating with the wider school team to promote a consistent approach to behaviour management.

We require a qualified professional with proven experience working with children or young people in an educational or support setting, particularly those with behavioural difficulties. You will need to have a deep understanding of SEND and behaviour management strategies, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Our ideal candidate will be able to start immediately and commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week. We offer competitive hourly pay rates, reflective of your experience, and opportunities for professional development and continuous support from our team.
