Senior Health and Safety Specialist

About the Role
We Recruit Group Ltd is supporting an independent property & construction contractor based in Kent, looking to appoint an experienced H&S professional to oversee all aspects of safety, risk and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- To manage and maintain a safe working environment for employees, clients, and stakeholders.
- To develop, implement, and monitor effective health and safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
- To conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.
- To investigate and report on incidents, near misses, and accidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements:
- Degree-level qualification in a relevant field (e.g., occupational health and safety, environmental management).
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior H&S role, preferably in the property & construction sector.
- Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation, including CDM regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
