Job Title: Teaching and Learning Lead

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Teacher to join our team at Regency High School, a specialist secondary school catering to students with profound, severe or moderate cognitive and learning needs.

The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of innovative teaching programs, promoting academic excellence and personal growth among students across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging and effective lessons, tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum plans, collaborating with colleagues to drive innovation and improvement in teaching practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and the wider community, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and contribute to the school's continuous improvement.
  • Meet the requirements of Qualified Teacher Status, demonstrating expertise in teaching and learning.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching programs.
  • Experience working with pupils with special educational needs and disabilities, with a commitment to inclusive education.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues, parents, and the community.
  • Commitment to extending and enriching provision for pupils beyond the school day, enhancing their overall educational experience.

Working Conditions and Benefits:

Regency High School prioritizes safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful applicant will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check and medical clearance check.

Salary and Career Progression: Range from £43,685 to £93,177 per annum, depending on experience.
