About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Loss Prevention Manager to join our team at Evri. As a key member of our Loss Prevention team, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating risks across our network, ensuring the integrity of our operations and protecting our business from loss and damage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement proactive strategies to identify and mitigate risks across our network, including high-profile cases for prosecution and civil recovery.
  • Train and develop members of the Loss Prevention team in Civil Recovery and evidence chains, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to effectively investigate and resolve cases.
  • Work closely with the Loss Prevention Senior Managers and Operations Teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration, driving process developments and changes to reduce losses and damages.
  • Champion client-related issues, formulating strategies to reduce losses and sharing findings with relevant Client Managers and attending key client meetings.
  • Continuously look for new technologies to assist in detecting internal theft-fraud and external risks to the business, ensuring Evri remains a leader in this field.
  • Support the Loss Prevention Regional Managers and Operations Teams in all relevant investigatory work, conducting and supporting as required across the network.
  • Develop and implement effective stakeholder strategies, building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
  • Work with the Head Of to design and implement the Proactive Loss and Claims department, delivering results in Civil Recovery and Prosecution.
  • Train and develop LP team in how to be successful with Civil Recovery cases and help to develop training programmes for other areas of LP and personal development.
  • Help write new processes and policies for Loss prevention, specifically but not limited to crime reporting, banning notices and investigation and reporting processes.
  • Work with outside agencies such as NBCS TAPA and other organisations to ensure we are current and up to date with industry standards.
Requirements
  • GCSE English and Maths (grade C or above)
  • Understanding of full MS office suite
  • Relevant experience within a loss prevention or parcel/logistics operations capacity previously operating at management level
  • Experience in setting up new department and team in a loss prevention environment
  • The ability to handle multiple/complex tasks in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Experience of working as part of and managing a team as well as experience of working independently without oversight
  • Strong influencing skills, capable of directing people in the pursuit of a common goal
  • Able to demonstrate concern for satisfying one's external and/or internal customers
  • The ability to focus on the desired result of one's own or one's unit's work, setting challenging goals, focusing effort on the goals, and meeting or exceeding them
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Able to prioritise, plan, organise, delegate and influence to gain control
  • The ability to recognise and manage own and others' emotions, to motivate oneself and restrain impulses, and to handle interpersonal relationships effectively
  • The ability to develop, maintain, and strengthen partnerships with others inside or outside the organisation who can provide information, assistance, and support
  • Able to build relationships and influence stakeholders influencing positively and challenging effectively and professionally where required
  • Takes ownership of issues and sees them through to conclusion
