**Clinical Research Fellowship at the University of Glasgow**

The MRC-University of Glasgow Centre for Virus Research (CVR) is a world-leading research institution dedicated to understanding and preventing viral illness. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled clinically qualified medical doctor to join our team as a Clinical Research Fellow in virology research.

This fixed-term, three-year post offers a unique opportunity to develop a project in clinical and translational virology research under the guidance of our experienced researchers. You will be part of a supportive and inspiring environment that fosters scientific excellence and career development.

The CVR provides outstanding training opportunities, including mentorship, networking, and career advice. You will have access to state-of-the-art facilities, including electron microscopy, imaging, and sequencing laboratories, insectaries, and bioinformatics teams.

As a Clinical Research Fellow, you will contribute to the development of your own research project, leading to the submission of a PhD degree. This formal training will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue an academic career in clinical or public health virology or infectious diseases.

**Salary Information:** The salary for this position will be on the Clinical Academic pay scale, ranging from £43,504 to £64,461 per annum. Your total remuneration package includes a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.
