We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Planner to join our team at Finsbury Food Group. As a key member of our Supply Chain Team, you will be responsible for producing and publishing production plans for the Ultrapharm site, balancing efficient production with customer demand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain planning data and system parameters
  • Review demand from customers and adjust production plans accordingly
  • Upload daily customer orders and advise of any concerns over unusual or erroneous order patterns
  • Maintain finished good inventory to achieve customer service levels of 98.5% or better
  • Manage seasonal events in line with business needs
  • Attend regular production review meetings as required
  • Provide data and/or highlight concerns on planning/production parameters
  • Review sequencing of plans to reduce change overs, meet out loading requirements, and balance labour and production resource

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working in a fast-paced and challenging environment
  • Good understanding of Health and Safety and Food Safety requirements
  • Experience of working to set targets and deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Desire to improve ways of working and share new ideas
  • PC literate and experienced in using and manipulating spreadsheets
  • Experience in using email and ERP system
  • Confident and able to communicate at all levels in the organisation
