Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons using the Sounds-Write phonics program to support literacy development in children.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and investigation.
  • Collaborate effectively with the EYFS Lead, classroom Teaching Assistant, and 1:1 Teaching Assistant to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Use guided play to develop essential skills in children, ensuring play is both purposeful and productive.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven experience in Early Years education.
  • A strong understanding of purposeful play and its role in child development.
  • Experience using phonics programs, preferably Sounds-Write.
  • Demonstrated ability to support children with additional needs.
  • A passion for fostering curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning in young children.

Estimated Salary: £29,000 - £43,000 per annum, depending on experience.
