Compensation: £49, - £61, (dependant on experience) + pension (up to 8% matched) + 25 days holiday

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver workstreams to support key customers;
  • Solve in-service structural issues and defects;
  • Develop new technical capabilities;
  • Represent the Structures Engineering Team at Customer meetings, Working Groups and Conferences;
  • Sustain and grow capabilities through training;

Requirements

  • Experienced Engineer with a marine structures background, ideally with submarine specific knowledge;
  • Experience in management and delivery of technical outputs, as well as coordinating and working with multi-disciplinary teams;
  • Scoping and quality assurance of technical projects;
  • Experience of leading project teams to successful delivery;
  • Evidence of coaching more junior engineers;

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in a STEM discipline (or equivalent experience);
  • Chartered or Incorporated Engineer Status with the UK Engineering Council and holds full membership of a relevant engineering institute (or willingness to work towards chartership within first 6 months of employment);

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
