Job Overview

AFID is a young, growing grant-making organization that is seeking a skilled Grants Officer to oversee a substantial grants portfolio. As a Financial Assistant for International Partnerships, you will play a key role in developing our grants finance function and working closely with our international partners.

In this role, you will support the financial management of grants, including budget reviews, financial eligibility checks, and technical assistance to grantees. You will also contribute to the development of our grants finance function and provide input on financial management strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a deep interest in international development and a proven track record in financial management. Experience in due diligence, risk assessment, and grants management is desirable. Bilingualism (English & French) is required, and proficiency in intermediate/advanced MsExcel is essential.

A salary of £40,000 - £48,000 per annum is offered for this role, based on experience. This position is open to candidates with the right to work in the UK and requires occasional office attendance.
