Imperial Recruitment Group is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Thrive and Personal Development Tutor to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our students with their personal development and progression support.

Job Purpose:

The Thrive and Personal Development Tutor will be responsible for delivering weekly informative and highly relevant IAG to each tutor group, offering advice, guidance, and support to enable students to be prepared for progression to apprenticeship or HE, supporting the monitoring and management of attendance and behaviour issues, liaising with parents/guardians/employers where necessary, and preparing students for their next steps (including overseeing UCAS applications, CV scrutiny, and apprenticeship interview support including work placement).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver TTE Thrive Tutorial sessions that meet the individual needs, interests, and abilities of all students.
  • Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and is developmentally appropriate to the maturity and interests of all students.
  • Employ a variety of teaching methods to engage students and promote their personal growth and development.
  • Work closely with parents/guardians/employers to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Prepare students for their next steps, including overseeing UCAS applications, CV scrutiny, and apprenticeship interview support.

Requirements:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Thrive and Personal Development Tutor who is passionate about supporting students to achieve their full potential. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with students, parents/guardians/employers, and other stakeholders.
