Therapy Support Specialist in Acute Care

This exciting opportunity is for an Occupational Therapist to join our Therapy team in providing support, knowledge, and advice to inpatient teams, community team members, and relatives/carers who have identified a service user's needs. The successful candidate will be based at Hellesdon Hospital and will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including Psychologists, Social Workers, and Peer Support Workers, to offer evidence-based interventions enhancing recovery, reducing admission lengths, and improving mental health.
As a key member of the team, you will participate in supervision, professional development, and staff welfare initiatives, ensuring your skills and knowledge remain up-to-date. You will also have access to training in assessment tools and be encouraged to contribute to AHP service enhancement workstreams. This role presents a unique chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals receiving care from the Trust.
