Maintenance Engineer Job Overview

Bennett & Game Recruitment is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Livingston. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, with experience in a similar position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and repair of all production plant equipment.
  • Electrical installations, upgrades, and remedials.
  • Responding to unplanned repairs and breakdowns.
  • Monitoring, fault diagnosing, and repair of equipment.
  • Undertaking preventative maintenance tasks on manufacturing and facility equipment.
  • Assisting in the planning of scheduled maintenance.
  • Providing support to Sales, specifying and obtaining costings for heating, lighting, and air conditioning as required.
  • Producing BOMs for production electrics as required.
  • Traveling as required for nationwide projects.
  • Participating in 24-hour emergency call-out service and being available to carry out emergency repair work on site.
Requirements:
  • Clear understanding of H&S regulations and safe systems of work.
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical installation and production machinery maintenance.
  • City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent City & Guilds qualification).
  • 17th or 18th Edition of BS7671.
