About the Role

Mastek is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Migration and Business Intelligence Expert to join our team. As a key member of our data analytics team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end data migration projects, ensuring data integrity and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Migration and Integration: Develop, implement, and optimize ETL/ELT processes using ODI, OBIEE, and PL/SQL.
  • Data Engineering: Design and build data solutions on Azure, leveraging Databricks, Data Factory, and other Azure services.
  • Data Analysis and Insights: Utilize Python and PySpark for data transformation, analysis, and real-time streaming.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver insights.
  • Technical Documentation: Create and manage technical documentation, including data models, process flows, and solution designs.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration, storage, and processing.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
  • Team Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
  • Stakeholder Management: Interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels to communicate project status, risks, and deliverables.
Required Skills
  • Primary Skills: ODI, OBIEE, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, ETL/ELT concepts, Azure Technologies (Databricks, Data Factory), Python, PySpark, Development Tools (VS Code, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket), Service Management (ServiceNow), API Integration (Rest API).
  • Secondary Skills: AWS Services (Postgres RDS, Athena, DMS, DynamoDB, Lambda, Kinesis streams, S3, IAM roles), Additional Technologies (Groovy, Typescript, Power BI, Hydr8 framework).
Requirements
  • Experience: 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in Data Migration, BI, and Analytics.
  • SDLC and Agile: Strong understanding of SDLC lifecycle and agile methodologies.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
