Nursing Associate in Early Intervention in Psychosis Service

We are seeking a dynamic and client-centred Nursing Associate to join our Early Intervention in Psychosis Team in Walsall. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work with individuals who have experienced First Episode of Psychosis and those at risk of developing psychosis.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with young people and adults in a sensitive and non-stigmatising way, taking full account of their need to stay connected with their daily lives.
- Carry a caseload of around 10 patients under the supervision of your allocated Band 6 nurse.
- Work in a client-focused way in a variety of non-traditional settings.
- Contribute to the assessment of care needs, development, implementation, and evaluation of programmes of care in the context of the Care Programme Approach.
- Promote and maintain confidentiality in accordance with the Data Protection Act and professional code of conduct.
- Be conversant and practice within the Mental Health Act 1983 and Mental Capacity Act 2005.
- Maintain and monitor records in accordance with local policies.
- Administer, store, and order medications in line with Trust policy and within the remit of the Nurse Associate role.
