Job Overview

Black Country Job Support is seeking a skilled Nursing Associate to join our Early Intervention in Psychosis Team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with individuals who have experienced first episode psychosis or are at risk of developing psychosis. Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality care coordination, assessment, and intervention under the supervision of a Band 6 nurse. This role requires a dynamic and client-centered approach, with a focus on promoting recovery, preventing relapse, and empowering individuals and their families.

Main Duties

Engage individuals in a sensitive and non-stigmatizing way, taking into account their need to maintain connections with everyday life.
Carry a caseload of approximately 10 patients under the supervision of a Band 6 nurse, providing assessment, planning, and intervention.
Work in a variety of non-traditional settings, contributing to the assessment of care needs, development, implementation, and evaluation of care programs.
Maintain confidentiality in accordance with the Data Protection Act and professional code of conduct.
Administer, store, and order medications in line with Trust policy and within the remit of the Nurse Associate role.
