Job Title: UGO Bus Driver

Essex County Council is seeking a skilled and experienced UGO Bus Driver to join our team. As a UGO Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers across various locations in Essex, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and providing a professional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a UGO bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring passengers are comfortable and satisfied with their journey.
  • Operate the bus in accordance with Essex County Council's policies and procedures.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Report any incidents or issues to the relevant authorities and Essex County Council.
Requirements:
  • Hold a valid driving license with a D1 entitlement.
  • Have prior experience in driving a bus or similar vehicle.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Have excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
