Job Summary:

We are seeking a punctual and reliable individual to join our School Crossing Patrol Team as a Mobile School Crossing Patrol Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of children and pedestrians at designated crossing points.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess risks associated with operating at the crossing site and report any problems or defects to the supervisor.
  • Prepare reports on accidents and failure to stop incidents, and other incidents occurring at the crossing site.
  • Ensure uniform and equipment are maintained in good condition and replacements are requested when needed.
  • Provide clear signals to drivers and ensure traffic remains at rest until the road is clear of pedestrians.

Requirements:

  • Access to a vehicle and business insurance, as travel to and from crossing sites is required.
  • Ability to meet the mobility requirements of the role through other means, if necessary.
