About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Adult Social Care team in Essex County Council. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with vulnerable adults to assess their needs and develop personalized plans to support their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and develop care plans for adults with complex needs
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals, including social workers, nurses, and carers, to ensure comprehensive support
  • Provide advice and guidance on occupational therapy interventions and equipment
  • Chair meetings with clients, family members, and carers to discuss care plans and progress
  • Develop strong relationships with partner agencies and the local community to provide a supportive framework for vulnerable adults
