  • Deliver occupational therapy services with direct or indirect supervision, ensuring the highest standards of care.
  • Take ownership of a specific aspect of service delivery, demonstrating professional accountability and responsibility.
  • Implement practices that promote service users' and carers' rights and participation, in line with their choices.
  • Manage a designated workload, prioritizing tasks, managing time and resources effectively under supervision.
  • Complete all necessary clinical documentation in accordance with company and professional standards.
  • Provide professional advice relating to Occupational Therapy, supporting individuals in care, carers, and colleagues as appropriate.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Knowledge of the area of specialism, clinical skills in assessment and intervention.
  • Ability to organize time effectively, use initiative, and work under pressure.
  • Clear understanding of Occupational therapy and occupational science.
  • Understanding of Adult and social learning theories.
  • Build therapeutic relationships with complex client groups, staff, carers, and relevant others.
  • Previous work experience within this specialism.
