About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Mental Health and Autism Support Professional to join our team at The Avenues Trust Group in Tunbridge Wells. As an Adult Autism Support Worker, you will work with adults who have diverse physical, mental, and behavioral needs in a supported living environment.

The estimated salary for this role is around £26,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience.

  • Hours: Full-time and part-time available - Minimum of 24 hours per week
  • Experience: Previous experience working with autism and challenging behavior is essential
Job Description

This role involves providing holistic support to individuals with autism, focusing on their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting individuals in daily living activities, including accessing community facilities and participating in leisure activities
  • Facilitating social interactions and connections with family and friends
  • Managing personal finances and ensuring a clean and safe living environment
  • Providing personal care and encouraging independence
