Family Liaison Role

We are seeking a skilled Family Liaison to join our team at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that families, carers, and significant others are supported through our learning review processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Agreeing methods and timing of communication with family members, including face-to-face meetings, telephone calls, and email correspondence.
  • Supporting families, carers, and significant others through learning review processes, ensuring timely contact and information sharing.
  • Signposting to sources of help following a bereavement or a serious incident, as indicated.
  • Contributing to the development of training and education to ensure all teams across the Trust are aware of the Trust response to bereavement/serious incidents.
