Family Liaison Officer - Uffculme Centre

Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled Family Liaison Officer to support families and carers through the investigation process following a serious incident related to a service user.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely contact and information sharing with families, carers, and significant others, including signposting to sources of help following a bereavement or a serious incident. They will also contribute to the development of training and education to ensure that all teams across the Trust are aware of the Trust's response to bereavement/serious incident.

The post holder will work closely with the Trust's teams to roll out a model of engagement, ensuring that all families, carers, and significant others are supported through learning review processes.
