Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Ensure the availability and maintenance of all IT infrastructure services, both premise and cloud-hosted, to meet business needs.

Lead the IT Infrastructure team to deliver high-quality services and meet performance targets.

Evaluate and improve IT infrastructure services, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process enhancements.

Develop and train direct reports to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their roles effectively.

Oversee the upkeep of comms rooms and services, ensuring power and other resources are secure and available.

Ensure all activities align with business processes and policies, including non-disclosure of confidential information.

Collaborate with internal colleagues, consultants, and third parties to achieve business objectives.

Oversee security services, including firewalls, penetration testing, and compliance updates.

Participate in the Security board and contribute to the development of security strategies.

Plan and facilitate team meetings and workshops to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Ensure new and updated services are thoroughly tested before deployment.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of solutions and services.

Be an escalation point for out-of-hours support and ensure infrastructure coverage is always available.

Adhere to Company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures, contributing to a safe and healthy workplace.Qualifications or Equivalent Experience:

Hold professional IT qualifications in IT infrastructure fields, with significant IT work experience as an IT engineer/administrator.

Have IT team leadership experience or suitable management training/certifications.

Hold academic achievements to at least A-level standard, with a degree preferred.
